As I look through my photos 

It shows me blurred, deformed versions
Of those that had looked glamorous yesterday
(Everyone around them said so)
(Everyone on Facebook said so)
They had looked different in person
They had looked alright, I thought

But these faces turn into monsters
And they're coming to get me...

... 

Have you watched Shallow Hal?

It's a movie
Where mean, selfish women
Look repulsive to Hal
(However "pretty" to the naked eye)
And kind-hearted women
Look beautiful to Hal
(However "fat" in real life. Mind you, beautiful is the opposite of fat. 

But with Hal's blesséd vision, you can see the two as one)

So Shallow Hal
Is no more shallow
And chooses right

...

Some faces look prettier
In the photos
They had looked ordinary when I met them the other day
Not glamorous, not shiny
Ordinary
(...hadn't they?)
